Like
many of you, my thoughts today are naturally centered on our country. I love
this country. I love celebrating it’s birthday. I wear red, white and blue with
pride. Yet, as proud as I am to be a citizen of this 200-year-old country, I am
more thankful to be a member in the 2,000-year-old kingdom of the Lord’s
(Philp. 3:18 ASV). What a comforting thought it is to know that no matter what
the future holds for this country, my citizenship in the kingdom of God will
